Benchmarks and Refunds

For most projects, the client will receive a thumbnail, a sketch, and the finished piece at the end.Thumbnails are small, loose sketches that will show the general layout of the illustration. These can be altered until the client is satisfied, within reason. Please take your time making decisions and communicate freely at this stage to prevent misunderstandings. Redlines, doodles, and additional reference images are appreciated.Once satisfied, the client will then be given a sketch that is representative of the final version. Outside of obvious errors and minor corrections, this sketch can only be altered once without cost.At this point, I typically require full payment to continue working on the illustration and the down payment becomes nonrefundable if the client accepts the sketch.I may check in as I work for clarifications or corrections. The client can also ask for updates. The finished piece will be sent as a full image and a smaller, web-ready version. Additional file types (procreate, .psd, .pdf) are available on request. For digital illustrations, no physical items will be shipped or handed over.Once the files have been sent, the client is no longer eligible for a refund. However, if I cancel a project or am otherwise unable to complete a piece, the client will be refunded in full. The client will be informed of any additional revision costs during the process and will be billed for them separately.
